Transition Evening

Parents are invited to attend transition evening one week prior to Y6 transition day. During this session parents/carers will be given an information pack to complete at home which Y6 will then be required to return the following week when they attend transition day.

There will be numberous presentations from our Headteacher and other members of the Senior Leadership Team. Parents will then meet in smaller groups and have the opporuntiy to speak to teaching and support staff.

Due to being unable to hold transition evening this year, we have created                                                  information videos for parents instead. You can access them here:

Transition Day

Y6 students who have accepted a place with SHS will come and spend the day in school, meet some of our teachers and students and get a feel for the school. Transition day is the same date for all High Schools. Parents do not need to inform their current primary school that their child will be absent. Pupils should wear their primary school uniform.
