Over the past six months, we’ve been working hard to create a more inclusive, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment for our international students.

The Charter recognises our commitment to:

✅ Improving wellbeing and belonging
✅ Promoting a culturally inclusive curriculum
✅ Providing tailored wellbeing and pastoral support

We’re proud of this milestone — but even more excited to keep building a school where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. 💛🌏

After a long journey and early morning yesterday, we visited the parque Maria Luisa. We’ve had a busy day in Sevilla starting at the Plaza de España. We have visited the Alcázar palace, wandered around the famous and old town of Barrio Santa Cruz. Later, we visited the Cathedral, climbed the 35 floors up the Giralda tower and heard the bells ringing. Finally, we visited the Plaza de toros bull ring and the famous Triana area over the Guadalquivir river. Students have been superb and impressed our guide Ignacio. ✨Our Year 9 DofE students recently undertook their bronze award!🥉

🚶‍♀️🚶The aim of the DofE expedition section is to inspire young people to develop initiative and a spirit of adventure and discovery by planning, training for and completing an adventurous self-sufficient journey as part of a team. Everyone completed a 2 day walk near Rivington in the sun, wind and rain- typical British weather!☔️☀️

⛺️🌿All students were amazing and kept up their team spirit throughout the few days but it is safe to say they were all ready for bed by the end of it! In order to complete their award they must now continue with their skills, physical and volunteering section. Well done everybody- we are very proud of you all!🌟🏆
