What's happening in PE this term?

Sale High have secured links with Cheshire County Cricket resulting in coaching sessions in both curriculum lessons and after school on a Tuesday and Wednesday after half term. Through this partnership the year 7 & 8 boys have been entered into the Indoor Cricket League of which we are hosting a round robin tournament next Wednesday against Wellington and BTH.

Partnership with Sale Sharks Rugby Club will begin next half term with the delivery of sessions to our Yr 7 & 8 girls during their PE lessons. This will allow a pathway to future participation. Also our Year 10 GCSE PE students will be participating in their Rugby Leadership programme culminating in a  Primary School Festival in April.

Extra-curricular Netball training is still in full flow each Wednesday with our Trafford Netball Coach Jean Leigh, Streetcheer each Tuesday with Sarah Alcourt and Taekwondo under the watchful tutelage of Mr Naqshbandi.

A host of lunchtime activities continues every day with tickets available from PE staff during break.

Year 11 GCSE revision sessions will continue again next Tuesday and Wednesday. Students have been invited to attend and remain focused  in completing both their GCSE climbing at Awesome Walls, Stockport and Personal Survival at Altrincham Leisure Centre.
