Letter to parents 24.05.17

Dear Parents/Carers

Sale High School would like to convey their deepest sympathy to the friends and families of those affected by the Manchester bombings on Monday evening.

We have all been deeply moved by the events that have unfolded after this event. In response to the atrocity at the Manchester Arena, we are going to work on a project that focuses on our school community, to promote love over hate through a celebration of our diverse city and school community. This project intends to ensure that we remain united in the face of growing tensions and to give the students and staff an opportunity to pay our respects to the victims.

We are committed to ensuring students are supported in school throughout this tragedy. All staff are happy to offer advice and guidance, and will sign post students to further help if needed.

Yours faithfully
