Sale High School does it again!

Sale High School is pleased to announce record-breaking results once again. The school has exceeded even its own high expectations against all key measures. Students comfortably met the demands of the new specifications and new grading system in all subjects. The school saw particularly high achievement in English, Maths, Science, P.E., Art and Modern Foreign Languages. This year 75% of students achieved grade 4+ in English, 71% grade 4+ in Maths and 100% grade 4+ in triple science. 69% of students achieved 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths, placing the school well above last year’s national average. Headteacher Jayne O’Grady is delighted with the results and has been hugely impressed by the hard work and dedication of students throughout her first year in post, “Faced with the rigours of the new examination system at KS4, Sale High School students have demonstrated, yet again, that through hard work and commitment anything is possible”. Particular praise goes to Alan, Gionata, Chris, Natasha and Wiktoria who are celebrating 16 grade 9s between them! Ms O’Grady would like to publicly thank and acknowledge the amazing hard work of the Sale High School staff. These results clearly show why Sale High School is the school of choice for the community.
